Originally from Massachusetts, Kelly has a degree in Communication Studies from Emerson College. Prior to Allied Live, Kelly was the Director of Marketing and Communications for Reprise! Broadway’s Best (now Reprise Theatre Company) for 7 years where she oversaw all the marketing, promotions and ticketing strategies for the organization. Recently, she worked at Plum Benefits in New York City where she promoted events both on Broadway and in Chicago.

Director of Account Services -- Midwest

Prior to joining Allied Live, Suzanne worked as a producer/editor in the field of television advertising and her experience lead her to teach courses in producing and media buying at Columbia College. A number of years as Creative Director at J. Herman Sitrick Advertising found her managing promotions and television, and print media needs for numerous local and national accounts including Ty Inc, Northlight Theatre and the Chicago Cubs. Her love of theatre and live entertainment led her to Jam Theatricals where she spent 7-plus extremely memorable years and eventually rising to build and manage the full service advertising and marketing department as Director of Marketing.

Suzanne currently leads the Chicago advertising team and works on The Lyric Opera of Chicago, Million Dollar Quartet (Chicago production), Lookingglass Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, Fitness Formula Clubs, Tricoci University and Mario Tricoci Hair Salons and Day Spas.

Vanessa joined Allied Live in the fall of 2009 and works on Chicago advertising. Current Chicago clients include Million Dollar Quartet, Lookingglass Theatre, Hubbard Street Dance, Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University and Mario Tricoci Hair Salons and Day Spas. Originally from Pennsylvania, she holds a BA in Music Business from Lebanon Valley College and is working toward her masters in nonprofit Arts Administration from Drexel University.  Prior to joining Allied Live, Vanessa worked for three years at the Kimmel Center for the Performing arts in Philadelphia, marketing national Broadway tours that came to the Academy of Music and the Forrest Theatre. During her time at Allied Live, Vanessa also worked with Chicago Opera Theater and was the press agent on the national tours of The Drowsy Chaperone and Hairspray.

From arranging Nutcracker ballerina escorts for Santa to shepherding 8-foot fire-breathing animatronic dragon pop-up appearances, Sharla manages promotional partnerships, events, stunts and street teaming with flair. From Allentown, PA, Sharla received her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising/ Public Relations and minor in theatre from Pennsylvania State University.


Mary Alyce Blum

Mary Alyce brings more than 20 years of experience in arts marketing and promotion to the Allied Live team. After earning her MBA and MA in Arts Administration from Southern Methodist University, she moved back to Chicago to become the marketing manager for Shakespeare Repertory Theater (now Chicago Shakespeare Theater). From there she moved to Jam Theatricals, heading their marketing efforts during the company’s growth from presenting Broadway seasons in three markets to more than 20. In the course of her career, she has worked as a media buyer, press agent, marketing director, and promotions coordinator. She has been with Allied Live for seven years, serivng as the marketing director for both national tours (Rent, Spring Awakening, and The Drowsy Chaperone are among her favorites) and Chicago sit-down productions (most recently Old Jews Telling Jokes), and developing strategic partnerships.

Andrea, raised in Northern California, became a true lover of Southern California while attending Chapman University in Orange, Ca.  Originally a dance major, she found herself falling in love with event marketing and has been pursuing the field ever since.  After graduation she dabbled as a Fox In-Theater Marketing Specialist with Allied IM.  She then went on to work for Feld Entertainment as a Marketing & Sales Manager for such shows as Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney On Ice, Monster Jam, and Supercross.  When she isn’t working, you can find her in the nearest dance studio or covered in paint in her apartment in Hollywood.

Cindy works with Allied Live to develop and execute marketing partnerships and promotional campaigns. With over 25 years of experience in the entertainment business, Cindy has worked in all aspects of marketing, public relations, advertising and promotions with a focus on strategic partnerships; these affiliations sometimes include sponsorship, but more often than not focus on an exchange of consideration that provides our clients with multi-tiered opportunities which utilize partner communications, facilities and advertising.

Cindy has developed marketing programs for numerous tours and performances, both locally and nationally, including: Keebler Unbeatable Wheatables Country Music Tour featuring Clint Black; Crown Royal Country Music Tour, Chivas Regal presents Frank Sinatra’s Diamond Jubilee Tour and opening night at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra with Sir Georg Solti, all for Seagrams; Catch A Rising Star; The Who’s Tommy; CATS; Phantom of the Opera; WICKED; Jersey Boys; Billy Elliot; Million Dollar Quartet; Cirque Du Soleil; DreamWorks How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular; Washington Ballet and so much more. Earlier positions include work with the USO/Central Europe, Margie Korshak Associates and The Goodman Theater in Chicago.

Alyssa Hammerschmidt has pursued an active involvement with the performing arts since the age of eight and was introduced to Allied Live while pursuing her Marketing Communications undergrad at Columbia College Chicago. Following the completion of her Bachelor of Arts, Alyssa accepted an offer to join Allied Live full-time as a Marketing Assistant. Her prior professional experience includes work with the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, as well as the Central Wisconsin Children’s Theater.

Jill joins Allied Live from New York where she spent five years as an Administrative Supervisor for a non-profit organization that was dedicated to providing services to the developmentally disabled. As the mother of a child with Autism, it is a field very close to her heart. A New York native, she holds a B.A. in Art History with a minor in English from Skidmore College.

Kenneth joins Allied Live's Integrated Marketing team after six memorable years with Chicago Shakespeare Theater's Audience Services and Marketing Departments. He is no stranger to Allied Live. Undergraduate studies in Marketing Communications and a lifelong passion for theatre led Kenneth to an internship with Allied Live's Touring Division while he was a student at Columbia College Chicago. During that time, he had the pleasure of assisting Marya Peters with press for the second national tour of Mamma Mia! Kenneth assists with multi-market media buying services including DC and Philadelphia clients and supports various Chicago clients including Lyric Opera, Mario Tricoci, Windy City Playhouse and Joffrey Ballet.
